Firefighters rescue canine who bought caught after chasing groundhog in Chester County

EAST BRADFORD TWP., Pennsylvania (WPVI) — A canine who bought caught after chasing a groundhog is protected at house due to firefighters in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

According to the West Chester Borough Fire Department, a 2-year-old Jack Russell terrier combine named Chloe broke free from her proprietor simply earlier than 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

Chloe had seen a groundhog and determined to chase after it.

However, the canine didn’t catch the furry animal. Chloe ended up being caught below a slab of concrete on the 600 block of Tower Lane in East Bradford Township.

Firefighters had been known as and went to work to rescue the canine.

“Chief Officers along with crews from Ladder 53 and Brush 51 began to dig and carefully move large concrete slabs in attempts to free Chloe,” the fireplace division mentioned in a Facebook publish.

It took crews an hour and a half to free the canine.

Officials say Chloe was not significantly injured.
